Alex Ramsay

Alex Ramsay is a Partner and Head of BF Global with responsibilities spanning all aspects of BF Global’s investment strategy, asset allocation, manager selection and risk management activity. 

Prior to joining Fremont Group, Alex was a principal at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in the Special Situations Group. In his KKR tenure, Alex worked across multiple teams and four offices, including London, San Francisco, Menlo Park, and Hong Kong.

Alex is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lord Baltimore Capital Group, the Fremont Group Foundation, Burlingame Coyotes Lacrosse, and Hillsborough Little League. He served on the Board of Directors of the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation until the conclusion of its operations. Alex received his BA in history from Yale and received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
